Little Mermaid Broadway Extravaganza!

Come join Ariel and all of her friends “under the sea” in Merrill Arts Center’s Summer Evening Broadway Performance Camp! Dancing, singing, and all of the fish are acting with three Twin Cities Professionals that will make this performance come alive! Everyone is going to flap their fins and have fun all week long The last evening is the special “extravaganza” performance for friends and family to join us and enjoy – with everyone in costume, of course!

Leapin’ Lizards Girls Camp!

Join Annie and her orphan friends as they “hard knock life” their way across the stage, singing, dancing and acting. Learning performance and having fun with three Twin Cities Professionals – everyone will be “fully dressed with smiles!” The last evening is the special “extravaganza” performance for our families and friends – in costume!

The Teaching Artists….

Dayna Railton (Director) has been a prolific director in the Twin Cities for nearly two decades, directing 140 plays, including 37 full musicals. She is the Artistic Director of The Play’s The Thing Productions, specializing in children’s theater, since 2009.

MJ Railton (Choreographer) works regionally as an actress, singer, dancer and model. She graduated from Minnesota State University of Mankato with a BFA in Musical Theatre. MJ has performed in Mamma Mia, Hair, Slasher, and The Wolves. As a professional artist, she has choreographed The Little Mermaid, Jr., Shrek The Musical, The Addams Family, Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse, and Heathers for theaters across the Twin Cities Metro.

Tyler Eliason (Music Director) is an actor, teaching artist, singer, musical director and vocal coach in the Twin Cities who has worked with a number of local arts organizations including Lakeshore Players, The Play’s the Thing Productions, The Phipps, Ashland Productions, and Merrill Arts Center. Tyler graduated from Concordia College with a degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance. He is currently the Music Teacher at United Christian Academy in Bloomington.
